Jet Ski Tour around
Island
Seeing Bermuda from the water is a must, and what better way
than on your own jet ski for a fun water adventure! We will
take a half day tour around the island with a guide who will
point out some important sites along the way. We will each
have our own Jet Skis unless you wish to ride with someone
else. Drivers of Jet Skis must be 16 years old, so for those
of you who are not yet 16, you will ride behind a driver.
There are restrictions in Bermuda on speed of Jet Skis to
respect the coral reef and its marine inhabitants as we tour
the island – so we will be moving at a safe, respectable and
leisurely pace.
Swimming with Dolphins
We
will dip into the crystal clear waters of a tropical blue
lagoon to swim with dolphins which you will find inquisitive
and beautiful. The experience is an amazing one where you can
interact comfortably with the dolphins as they swim around
you. It is a unique experience you will always remember.
Crystal Caves
and Fantasy Caves
There are several
caves in Bermuda deep beneath the surface of the island and full of
geological wonders. Although we will have an opportunity to explore,
study and snorkel in caves throughout our program the Crystal Caves
are also definitely worth seeing. They are named after the crystal
clear water that fills the caves. Unlike the waters in other caves,
the clarity in the Crystal Caves is so perfect that we can see the
cave floor, which at one point lies 55 feet below the water’s surface.
Our
guide will take us down a series of steps carved into the rock and as
we will walk along a pontoon constructed over the water we will learn
about the history and geology of the cave which is full of illuminated
stalagmites and stalactites formed over millions of years.
Our programs are enhanced by
additional excursions which go beyond the focus of the course
and give students the option to explore areas outside of the
region in which our programs are located, in a supervised
environment with private coaches and guides. Schedules and costs of these excursions are
provided to students in March.
