Are you ready for an exciting experience in Costa Rica.....

Join us for an adventure filled trip to a country named for its Rich Coast, to experience the Pura Vida (pure life) of Costa Rican culture, trek through the lush Central American Rainforest, and live amongst some of the most unusual and spectacular flora and fauna and of course – relax at beautiful beaches!

After running successful community service March Break Programs in Costa Rica we are offering an Online and Onsite program for the Summer! Your first 2 weeks will be online followed by an adventure filled trip for 2 weeks in Costa Rica to complete the remainder of the course.

We arrive in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica to explore the city before heading to a biological research station in the spectacular rain forests of Sarapiqui.

Conservation and preservation of the breathtaking forests, flora and fauna is key in Costa Rica and we will be guided through the dense rainforests to view diverse species of birds and amphibians on both day and night walks.

We boat along the Sarapiqui River to discover the incredible landscape and the howler monkeys, iguanas, huge Caymans, sloths, turtles and colourful marine lizards that inhabit these waters and forests.

Several volcanoes and waterfalls are located all over the country and our group will hike the hills to the Paos Volcano, followed by the Las Paz Waterfall Gardens where the waters come crashing down into a pool situated in a dense forested area.

Costa Rica is known for its sanctuaries, plantations and commitment to organic farming. Our group will have the opportunity to tour coffee, pineapple and aloe plantations and view the most beautiful and colourful butterflies that can be as large as the size of a human hand!

Our journey continues on to La Fortuna region, to visit Volcán Arenál – a stunning volcano which has been constantly active since it awoke after 400 years of being dormant!  We then head to the Tabacon Hot Springs nearby to soak in the naturally heated pools at the foot of the volcano filled with waters coming from Arenal and with temperatures ranging from 26C to 41C. An amazing site you will never forget and once you get in you will not want to leave!

To experience the dense rainforests you will also visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest and view the area from above while on a canopy tour….and if you wish, you can head back down to earth on the zip lines – where you slide down on cables through the foliage!

You will also have a full day at an amazing Caribbean beach to enjoy the ocean, white sands, and incredible surfs.

This adventure offers a complete Costa Rican experience enabling you to enjoy the culture, language, and wonderful people in a lush tropical setting.

All funds noted are in Canadian Dollars.
