Zip through nature 

Take the opportunity to zip across valleys and through the rainforest on a cable for a unique adventure and adrenaline rush!

Five observation towers exceed the cloud forest treetops so you can have an incredible panoramic view of the rainforest before you head across and down each zip line.

All with total security and an innovative braking system. The tour starts with the Sky Tram that will lead you up to the Continental Divide and if you decide you don’t want to zip down to earth -  our guides will take you back down on the tram instead. 

Tabacon Hot Springs

After the exhilarating experience on the Zip Lines past Arenal Volcano and through the Rainforest – we will head to the base of the volcano to experience natural thermal mineral pools! These amazing hot springs are situated in the middle of a primary rain forest where you can soak for hours in waters coming directly from Arenal Volcano. Rainwater enters the earth through fissures on the surface and is then heated by magma found in the earth’s core. Once heated, the waters rise to the surface, loaded with minerals flowing down from Arenal. Each pool varies in temperature from cool to hot baths. The hot pools range in temperature from 27ºC to 42ºC. There are twelve of these natural pools along with lagoons, waterfalls, exotic gardens and trails that wind around the pools.

Horseback Riding  

2 hour journey with a local Costa Rican family, on well-trained horses through a farm and forested area.

No riding experience is required.

Our programs are enhanced by additional excursions which go beyond the focus of the course and give students the option to explore areas outside of the region in which our programs are located, in a supervised environment with private coaches and guides. Schedules and costs of these excursions are provided to students in March.
