On this Amazing Southeast Asian experience you will explore 3 countries with complex cultures, elaborate monasteries and temples, and colourful festivals and markets. Outside the cities, you will be in awe of the lush, tropical rainforests, beautiful green rice paddies, stunning cliffs, mountains, and idyllic coastline beaches.

Our first destination is Cambodia, a country with magnificent temples situated deep within forested areas, lakes teeming with hundreds of species of birds and fish, amazing beaches, and huge rice paddies spread across the land.

We explore the regions of Phnom Penh bustling with crowds, street vendors and tuk tuks (3 wheeled vehicles) that whiz people around the city and spend time at the museums and sites that reflect its troubled past.

Moving north to Siem Reap we visit some of the largest temples in the world built centuries ago inside sanctuaries - architectural masterpieces ornately and exquisitely carved. We will ride elephants up hills to the temples, explore the works of art carved into the stone and then visit the modern sections of the city where day and night markets offer an amazing cultural experience.

We then journey to Vietnam - a country that, after being ruled by European colonial powers and a tumultuous history, opened its doors to the world. We visit the city of Ho Chi Minh once know as Saigon to explore the busy streets and water markets along narrow canals, and travel just outside the city to the beautiful green rice paddies and descend into the underground tunnels built all over the country during the Vietnam War. Finally, we boat along the historic Mekong River to see the villages and markets that have developed along the banks, where today thousands of families earn their living.

Our final destination is Bali, called "the island of the gods", exotic and known for its stunning beaches, waterfalls, mountains, volcanoes and spectacular landscape. We will be stationed in the coastal area and travel throughout the island to experience the diverse flora and fauna in tropical forests, hike through national parks and up mountains, and relax on idyllic bays and beaches - a great way to end your program!

There will be many stories to share, after you explore the beauty of the 3 countries, experience the culture of these very friendly people, and understand their turbulent past and hopeful future.
